Appointment Types

At Tutt Street Medical Clinic, we consult with patients who are referred from another specialist, their family doctor, or nurse practitioner.

We are here for your diagnosis, treatment and ongoing kidney wellness.

In Person Appointments

When an in person appointment is deemed necessary by the physician, an appointment will be arranged by the office staff.

If you are not well, experiencing flu-like or other highly contagious symptoms, or recently been exposed to someone with such symptoms, please notify the office as soon as possible and your appointment will be rescheduled.

Telehealth Appointments

Virtual Appointments -- either by phone call or video call using Zoom -- are the most common appointment types.  Through this method you can have the appointment with your specialist from the comfort of your own home.

Please log on to Zoom and test your audio and video prior to your appointment--see the links below regarding Zoom.

Appointment Preparation

Lab Work

A Laboratory Requisition will be sent to the laboratory. It is your responsibility to complete the labwork at least two (2) weeks prior to your appointment. Some tests take time to complete and the doctor needs all those results to be able to more accurately assess your health.

Medication Lists

Please provide the office staff with your full list of medications, vitamins, supplements, over-the-counter medications, along with the dosage and frequency PRIOR to your appointment. It is important for the doctor to know exactly what you are currently taking.

Blood Pressure Readings

For virtual appointments the doctors would like you to obtain and record  2-3 blood pressure readings from a few days prior to the appointment. This can be done at home with your own machine, at your family doctor's office, or at a local pharmacy.  Please see the handout on the resources page for tips.
